I have multiple controllers that I’m playing/tuning manually by using Adjust Watering/by percent.
Keeping up with my tinkering can be confusing at times–is there anyway to display the current adjustment(s) I’ve made, or if not, is there anyway to reset/restore just that one variable (e.g. reset water adjustment to default 100%).as the math changes when restoring (e.g if using the value 100 as the default when minus/reduce by 40% the value is now 60 but the new setting of 60 when adding back in the previous minus percentage of 40% will yield 84 and not the desired restoration value of 100. To reset to 100 would now need to be apx a. plus 66.5% in order to achieve)…
We do not currently support this functionality. Unfortunately writing these down before they are changed is probably the best option at the moment.
OK, thanks very much–that’s what I’ve been doing and that addresses part one of question.
How about part two? How do I later restore to 100%–do I have to do higher level math? (e.g. 100% reduced by 40% to restore to 100% means increasing by about 166%) or do I just put in a +100% and it will interpret as full? Without a display I’m uncertain of what my upward or attempted restore adjustments are accomplishing.
Answering my own question: I now see when I have adjustment and schedule fully open that a % adjustment impacts the time read-out with every click (not sure if this is new or not). So, if I log the original station time before doing any % adjusting I can find the restore point without regard to whatever percentage I’d adjusted by previously–Thanks (said to myself).
