Rachio 3. That’s the controller I bought. Will it turn on my pump?
You may need a pump start relay that the Rachio can drive with 24VAC and hooked with the appropriate power on the other side to drive the pump.
Many pumps run off pressure and are always on and only pump when the pressure drops (IE Rachio turns on a sprinkler valve). Why do you want to tie it into Rachio?
Most irrigation pressure pumps don’t work like this. They run of a pump relay.
Pumps like you are referring to would need a pressure tank, like a well pump in order for a pressure switch to really work.
