I typically have my router reset everything night around 1:00 AM. This helps with router performance. Right now I have disabled the capability. The WiFi temporarily is down during this reset. This just happens to be in the middle of my watering time. What happens to the Rachio controller and its operation when the router is reset? Does this interrupt the irrigation operation?
It should continue watering its preprogrammed schedule(s) and then reconnect to the router when available.
Honestly, I’d look into what’s causing your WiFi issues and stop resetting the router nightly. No router should need that. Maybe start with reserved ips For all your devices if you have no idea what’s causing your issues.

I’m with @inkahauts on this. A reboot is a solid “tool” to fix issues, but shouldn’t be needed nightly.
