Was installing my enclosure and I noticed that I do not have a ground wire to connect to the enclosure. The previous controller (Rainbird) had the green and white cables together. Is this ok? I am not in a financial position to hire a professional at the moment.
The ground wire is not actually used by the plugin transformer that will go into that box. There is no need to worry about it unless you decide to plug something else into that outlet that is a 3 wire cord and requires a ground.
In that case, I would not recommend plugging anything into that outlet except for the Rachio component.
