So I spent days trying to find an alternative to the Everydrop flow meter because it looks cheap and it says it’ll reset on power cycle which isn’t uncommon in my area. I finally gave up since my top 2 choices aren’t supported by Rachio (Hunter HC-100FLOW, Rainbird MJ100b). So I gave in and ordered the Everydrop.
Now I’m at a new delimma, what box do I put the flow meter in? NDS makes a 10x15" box for like $16. Only problem, takes over a week to get from Lowes, Home Depot or Amazon! And not available at my Irrigation Supply place.
Anyone tried to put a flow meter in a 10 or 12" round box? Is it practical to swap out the meter when winterizing in such a box?
