I am a Noob who just purchased a Rachio 3 12-Zone from Costco. I have four zones and am trying to adhere to the Aurora, CO watering schedule. I setup a Flex Monthly Schedule which may be wrong. The reason I chose that is bc the Aurora Watering schedule changes from month to month.
May two days per week w/ each zone 3 times per daye
June two days per week w/ each zone 3 times per day
July three days per week …
August three days per week …
September two days per week …
My zone 1 is a drip line that I am running for 15 min per interval in May w a two gal per hour emitter for tomatoes
My zone 2 is a pop up zone that is allowed to run for 5 min per interval in May
My zone 3 is a pop up zone that is allowed to run for 5 min per interval in May
My zone 4 is a rotary high efficiency head zone that is allowed to run for 14 min per interval in May
In June the times are 7 and 22 min respectively
In July the numbers 5 and 15 min respectively
In August the numbers are 5 and 14 min respectively
In September the numbers are 6 and 17 respectively
Question One, is the Flex Monthly Schedule the appropriate choice?
I set my interval to water on Sunday and Wednesday to meet the two day requirement.
Times is set to end before sunrise
The Watering Duration Total Time is 1 h 30 min for May
Drip Line = 15 min
Zone 2 w pop ups = 15 min
Zone 3 w pop ups = 15 min
Zone 4 w high efficiency rotator heads = 45 min
Three, is the Watering Duration Total Time equal to the total run time for all the zones for the day?
