I noticed earlier today that my moisture levels were at 111% after we got quite a bit of rain. However after another almost 4 inches of rain this afternoon, it’s still pinned at 111%.
Does it allow more than 111% since it’s definitely higher than that right now?
The moisture level tracks the water available to your lawn or garden in the root zone. Once the root zone is saturated, any additional precipitation either runs off or is absorbed below the root zone. So the answer is no, you are seeing it maxed out.
The field capacity is based on the root depth and available water coefficient for the soil type in your zone setup.
