Father-in-law cut tap connector off Smart Timer

Hi everyone,

Basically what the title says. My father-in-law cut the plastic screw connector, that attaches to the garden tap, off the top of my Smart Timer. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement connector, or any other ideas for how to connect it to the tap?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Many thanks,

Jangle

(My father-in-law is actually very nice, and thought he was doing me a favour. I was replacing a leaky tap splitter and the Smart Timer was stuck on it. I had gone to buy some WD-40, he saw that it was still stuck and cut it off with a saw. He thought it was a standard plastic connector, not part of the timer.)

Boy, I’d have to look at my hose timer, but I’d bet that plastic piece is molded around the brass piece and not replaceable.

From the remains, it does look as if it was moulded, unfortunately. I’ll see how strong duct tape is…
