My utility offers a 50% rebate for EPA WaterSense-labeled irrigation controllers. Does this mean that the box needs to have that label? If so, why doesn’t the Rachio 3 have this label anywhere on the packaging? It’s not even in the Amazon product description. Is this product EPA WaterSense-labeled? I would think this would be a much-advertised feature since it allows consumers to get 50% off.
I am almost sure it qualifies for the label, but not sure why it does not have the label. However, things work seem to work with the government, I would not be surprised if it is a fortune to get.
