I just replaced a 12 zone Irritrol Total Control with the Rachio 3 from Costco. I love it but the cover keeps popping off because of the two groups of wires coming in the bottom of the unit. I currently have wires coming into the unit for only 9 zones. I don’t know if my wires are a little heavier gauge than other systems but even after I tried to press the wires close to the wall, there still isn’t enough room and the cover pops off.
The cover should be a little deeper and allow more room for the wires. I would greatly appreciate a new cover if you redesign it!
