It is correct, he has a mixture of 2 sands. .1 on one and .04 on another so I recommended the average and instructions on slowly salon it upwards.

I’m also trying to get him to shorten the root depth, he has Augustine set to 9 inches which is way too long.
You will want to start applying “revive” on a frequent basis to increase the organic matter in that same which will allow you to increase the awc
Thank you everyone for your solutions. I have made all suggested adjustments and it appears to be doing what it should to maintain the moisture level. It has been running every day for about 15 min per zone since making changes. Prior to the changes I had one zone that ran 41 min.
