Concurrent Gen1 and Gen2 usage?

Current gen1 user that need to add more zones. Can I add a gen2 in the same way I could add a gen1?

I understand the limitations of using two gen1s at the same time, just wanted to see if the same holds for a gen1+gen2 system.

Yes, you can still add these as two separate physical devices.

We do not support seeing them as one logical controller.
