Can't enter home address on Android, app is bricked

I just installed my first Rachio product, a Rachio 3 smart controller. I
downloaded the app and made an account, and when it prompts me to enter a
home address, I can type it out but can’t submit it. There is no next or enter button, I don’t
see a list of addresses that auto-populate either, and pressing the enter
button on my keyboard does nothing. I am stuck on this step and can’t set
up my smart controller because the app isn’t letting me enter or look
up any addresses.

I’ve tried entering multiple addresses so it’s not just an issue with my
specific address. It won’t allow any entry and no autocomplete suggestions
pop up for any addresses. It’s a completely unresponsive text box.

I’ve tried reinstalling it, made sure location permissions were enabled,
and also blocked any password manager apps that may have possibly been
interfering with text entry.

I have a Google Pixel 8 Pro and have never had any issues with any other
apps or text field entries before. Anyone else encounter this or know a fix?

Sorry to hear you are having that experience. I will work with the engineering team and have them look into this issue. For the short term, if this is an Android issue, if you have an iPhone you can try that out.

Thank you Franz, I was able to find a workaround by logging into my account on my wife’s iPhone. Once she added our address and created our home on her app. I logged back into my app on my Pixel and was able to proceed with the rest of the setup on my Pixel app.
