I’m reading that Rachio 3 does not and should not be used with PWS. Is there an option to use one tho? I live in a rural area where it can litterally rain on my neighbors house and not mine. The national stations will not be any help to me at all. Since I already have a PWS can I set it up to use it?
Yes, use your PWS. Nothing beats locally measured weather on your property if the station is well set up and maintained. Use the Ambient Dashboard or bridge to send data to Wunderground (follow Ambient’s instructions on doing that). You should eventually be able to select your station. WI Plus is best for those that have no local reliable and well maintained stations.
