@Lars Are these zones part of a index valve? Something like this:
If so, you will need to setup a short pause between zones in order for the index valve to switch to the next zone, without such pause, it will continue to supply water to a single zone.
Such pause is possible if the system is set to pump / well delay, more on this here:
