Have purchased a home in urban area on west coast with a Rachio 3 system. Won’t move for 6-8 months so no WIFI. Have gardener in meantime to do maintenance, but she doesn’t have access to the system. I’ve downloaded the app and the controller is active and the garden appears to be doing well. I’m not sure what I need to do, if anything, to start. Any suggestions?
@reag - it depends on the schedules the prior owners created. If they used Fixed schedules, then Rachio will keep running those - but with no weather modifications (if selected - rain (unless there is a rain sensor), forecasted rain or seasonal adjustments).
If they used Flex schedules, then after two weeks of no internet access to download weather forecasts Rachio will revert to watering every three days.
