I think I’ve read every post on this forum relating to the API. So I guess mine is a plea to Rachio to please address the many calls for more extensive documentation of the public API. It’s great that you provide it, but please fully document it. Specifically, unless the data item in question is part of a query key, the current docs say nothing about the nature of the data returned, neither its definition nor its scale/units. For example, what do “runtime,” “availableWater,” “saturatedDepthOfWater,” etc., mean? What units are they accumulated in? Inches, feet, centimeters, seconds? If someone with knowledge of this API would just take half a day to sit down with the Person record and write out a data dictionary, I know all of us who are using the public API would be eternally grateful.
