I assume this is a moss, but can anyone confirm? We have some serious blankets of it in areas where there is less sun drying the yard. You can pull it up in sheets.

Can’t confirm 100% but looks like moss. I also have it where there is less grass and sun shines less. Mother nature will cover that bare ground with something!
