Forgot to check this out earlier, and only realized when I finished checkout… I’m based in Portugal, so the electrical outlet sockets are type F and the standard voltage is 230V. My question is, for European customers, does Rachio sell different outlets? Is there any problem using non official outlets with the same specifications in terms of Volts/Amps on the Hub?
Are there any European users here with this product? How did you do it?
Cheers
Edit: Checked the forum and found several posts of European users although the posts were dated and not related to the Rachio Wifi Hub. Anyway, everyone had the same problem but managed to find solutions. Can anyone pass me the specs of the charger from the Wifi Hub so that I can find a similar charger before the
Just an update… hopefully can help any future European Rachio users…
So, my Rachio Hub and Hose arrived, as expected the power transformer came in the American Format… to my surprise the Transformer worked with up to 240V, so, all I needed was something like this: https://amzn.eu/d/05JsRCdY
After configuring the Hub and the Hose, I started trying it out. The Hose connectors are kind of different to what I’m used in Europe, and thus it kind of leaked from the top part because it couldn’t close all the way, however, I managed to fix it with one of these: https://amzn.eu/d/02RCsVkC
Same thing happened on the bottom part, but with some teflon tape it was firm in place without any leaks.
So far, everything is working great. Some drawbacks though:
bottom part is Plastic, hope that in the long term it doesn’t get fragile and break;
unfortunately the Hose can’t measure the used water per run.
