Everything you need to know about Wireless Flow Sensors.
Mine is now up and running. Any idea what i can compare the initial flow data to? Calibration doubled the June usage. Went from 3600 to 8000 gallons with 3100 saved.
My water bill shows units. But i dont know what that means.
Which meter is better wireless or wired and where can I purchase?
Thank you
I have a Rachio 2 Controller and, when purchased, I installed the Rachio Flow Meter. After 5 years of flawless service, it failed, and I was informed that Rachio was recommending Everydrop as the flowmeter of choice. So, I bought one. The first issues I faced were: (1) the dimensions of the EveryDrop flowmeter were 6" longer than the old Rachio flowmeter, so I had to hire a plumber to reconfigure the space ($250)! (2) The installation instructions were horrible, so I consulted with Rachio support for help. They were GREAT, but after THREE MONTHS, they gave up and referred me to Everydrop. The Director of Engineering himself spent TWO MONTHS trying to help until he reached the following conclusion: THE RACHIO CONTROLLER IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH THE EVERYDROP FLOW METER!!! The meter will calibrate fine, but when a zone is activated, the Controller does not properly process the data and gives a LOW-FLOW warning every time. Neither Rachio nor Everydrop could solve this problem. The ONLY conclusion to reach is: THESE DEVICES ARE INCOMPATIBLE!
