Is it a typo on Costco’s website, where they let me order a 12-zone Rachio 3? I thought there were only an 8-zone and a 16-zone model. Maybe the 12-zone model is specially made for and marketed exclusively through Costco.
Is the warranty, support and functionality the same as the 8 and 16 zone models?
Usually it is but I’ve found (from other products) that when you call for service they’re not quite sure what you’re talking about when you refer to one of their non-standard products. That’s the reason I ordered the Rachio 16 from Amazon rather than the 12 from Costco. Note: I might be just a bit paranoid and you may not have any problems at all with the Costco model.
