The valve I use seems to be in the open position, so when the rachio kicks in it actually turns the valve off. Can I reset the valve position through the rachio or do I do this at the actual valve location?

Thank you … I replaced the valve … it was old and I wanted to upgrade to a newer model. The older one did not have a manual override to open or close it

Hopefully your manifold made it easy to swap out your valve. Sometimes that can be a very tricky repair!
