Offer Rain Gauge as an accessory for Rachio

I am a new user but hind that local weather reports, of rain, to be inaccurate 50% of the time. I think it would be a great add on from Rachio it hey offered a rain gauge, not sensor. When It rains 2", 8 miles away at a local weather station my yard get no water from rain or the sprinkler system… If the Rachio timer could read it’s own rain gauge it’s decision to water or not water depending on actual rain fall would be more accurate.
