While a couple of suggestions are close to this suggestion. I think they are different.
Basically after installation of your water network, you want this start operational date logged, per valve item and/or grouped per zone. User can set control times. Either as reminder (through mail/notification etc) or as commercial signal to person who does the maintenance (Shared notifications). During winter, the winterization mode jumps in (as a special maintenance planner mode). During scheduled inspections or random sample inspections, notes can be added to each item/zone. Feedback on connected items as fertigation like periodic cleaning or refilling could be put here as well. For shared services, failure stats and operational on/off times/winterization time etc. could also be valuable. Like water gallons translated to water costs. Maintenance costs could be recorded here as well
