I see a lot of questions/concerns about the device’s watering logic when one’s local precipitation does not jive with an assigned weather station’s observance. There a few ways to manually correct this; eg. put in a rain delay or fill up the moisture tank.
I am suggesting another way be provided - allow one to enter in a precipitation amount by date in the moisture level detail chart so that the system can adjust the parameters for watering for the next few days, based on the inches of rain entered. This would take the guesswork out of manually correcting for observed rainfall being different than that reported by the weather station.
This seems to make a lot of sense to me but maybe I’m missing something…
