I am less impressed with this controller. I am finding just like with my old Un smart controller I am hand rain delaying all the time. Every time it’s rained recently it has turned on the sprinklers while it’s raining and with weather warnings for Sever weather. Why is this happening?
This usually has to do with a bad weather station. We collect precipitation data and our systems are highly accurate in determining when to skip a schedule, but if the data is inaccurate then it becomes harder. If you reach out to support@rachio.com they can help review your watering times and options.
Also, on Monday we are releasing our 2.0 Software which will allow you to choose a preferred station (national or a personal weather station) so you are guaranteed where the data is coming from.
