What is the recommended method of pausing the system so it won’t water until resumed? I have tree trimmers coming tomorrow morning and don’t want the sprinklers to run tonight and get everything wet.
Just set the rain delay for as long as you need to stop watering. That way you won’t have to remember to go back and turn it on.
I thought the rain delay would reset the ET deficit?
Good point. I forgot about the effect on ET. Standby would then be the best bet.
Feel free to set up a rain delay. It won’t affect your ET deficit. Instead, it will put everything in a standby mode.
