Serial number issues

I just bought the new Rachio 3. I am unable to set it up. It keeps telling me that “there was a problem looking up your serial number”
It’s brand new and don’t understand why this is happening.

From what I see in this community, such as at New Rachio 3 serial number not accepted, it seems serial number issues require contacting customer service. If nobody responds here, I would suggest doing that (you might want to anyway to get things rolling).
