Received new unit, activation failed

I keep getting an “activation failed” setting when I enter the serial number. This is a new unit that Rachio sent me and was delivered today.

Hopefully Rachio will help. You can call them tomorrow. Sometimes it takes a few attempts. This is what I have found with all the wifi controllers I tested. Rain Bird’s wifi controller took about 12 attempts. I remember watching some Gen 2 videos on youtube

Definitely call. I ended up having to do so when my wifi wasnt connecting properly during activation. Turned out the controller had been reset back in the factory and thus it didn’t know “how to call home” to the Rachio cloud server.
