A while back I tried re-enabling Seasonal Shift on the schedule we’re using. Yeah: Bad idea. One zone ran itself down from ninety minutes to something like twenty-five. (I think that was the same zone that once arbitrarily ran itself down to five minutes.)
So I turned Seasonal Shift back off again and re-programmed the zone.
Now the days are cooling and shortening, so the amount of water we needed in the dead of summer is too much. The various Flex options were an unmitigated disaster. Seasonal Shift produces wonky results. So the only thing to do is manual adjustment.
Yeah: Manually tweaking eight zones, one-by-one, as the season changes.
I don’t think so.
Since Rachio did not see fit to even respond to my Feature Request: Tweak Water Budget For Entire Schedule, I suppose next season I’ll be looking for a new irrigation controller again
