I’m fairly certain that a Fixed schedule will skip watering for that day, provided the threshold you set is met or exceeded. Watering will resume the next scheduled date if rain will not meet or exceed your threshold. So it won’t break your Fixed schedule rule, it’ll continue to only water on days you selected (in your example, 3 days later).
