I noticed in Rachio today that it had somehow switched over to an alternate,nearby weatherforyou.com weather station as a data source in the interim. I don’t know how long ago that happened, or if it deduced the ongoing lack of data, and made the switch by program design, but that may have lessened the excessive watering during the down period on my station data.
UPDATE: I just looked at the Archive of the data in weatherforyou.com that Rachio was using. It is a carbon copy of the data from my weather station, and suffers from the same huge gap in data as mine, so that wouldn’t have helped any.
