Rachio 2 Solonoids wont turn off

I have just installed a new Rachio 2. My problem is that all my solonoids turn on but wont turn off. They only turn off when I disconnect the power to the controller so im confident its a controller issue. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

@BrentJ - sounds like one of two possible problems:

  1. Using an AC to 24 VDC converter instead of the AC to 24 VAC transformer that is shipped with the Rachio. This is common with replacement converters or international installations (220 VAC).
  2. The sprinkler system has DC solenoids instead of the 24 VAC solenoids that Rachio is designed to work with.

I’d check the label on the power brick supplying power to the Rachio first.
