We built this new home with 12,000 sq Ft lawn & bushes .
The builder installed a Hunter module with eight zones . I switched out the Hunter for the Rachio 3 and we couldn’t be happier. The best part of the Rachio is the ease of use and ability to control the zones via your phone . I have to agree that the skip watering is not always accurate but either is the weather forecast . I like being able to wet the lawn for only a few minutes before the application of certain lawn products . This has been a horribly dry season and most lawns show the damage - Ours looks great !! Granted I adjust for the extreme drought conditions but with the Rachio it’s as easy as increasing the time for the zones that look dry .
