New Schedule Features Available!

I think I have a similar issue. Last night I took 3 of my 7 zones and emptied the moisture level so that those 3 would kick off this morning at 3 am.

I can see the 3 zones watered but that watering session is not reflected in the journal. It is showing that irrigation didn’t run and is at 0.

In fact the 3 zones still say 0% moisture. I can see on the calendar view that it watered and it also say in the history; additionally I received the push notification this morning that it watered.

Was so easy before to up/down the minutes per controller. I rarely need to up/down all controllers by some percentage. And “seconds”? Really? Do folks really have a need for 10 minutes and 23 seconds vs 28seconds? I think minutes are fine; sorry but this wastes time now"

I completely agree with what Rick writes. Do not need seconds, remove that on your next update.

Additionally, I do not like how when you now change the daily interval on a fixed schedule, the run duration changes up or down so that you’re not putting out any more water per week. That should remain a separate adjustment. As the seasons change, the fixed schedules should also be changed, so this accommodation by the software of automatically adjusting runtimes after adjusting frequency should not occur. Bad choice rachio.

I’m a professional landscaper with nearly 25 years experience. We manage over 35 gardens a month. We have 14 rachio gen 3 in operation with two additional pending. So I’d say I know what I’m doing, and that my comments are valid for the professional user. Having to adjust multiple schedules on over 14 systems and then having to do double the work because of the above described software update is nonsense. For now you are my go-to controller, but if you keep making these nonsense changes, you will not be.
