Master valve by zone a planned update for Gen 3?

Sloped yard. Pressure boosting pump and relay wired to master valve. Need for uphill zones but not downhill.

  1. Can the master valve by zone be accomplished through a software update? or is a hardware upgrade required?
  2. IF possible by software update is this something Rachio developers are working on or planning?

I asked about this last year also… I have a few large zones with higher flow heads that require a pump. However most of my yard doesn’t need the pump running and it just causes unnecessary wear and tear on everything by running at a higher pressure than needed.

Having zone based settings for the M lead would be an awesome feature.
