Just Installed Rachio…No Zones are working…but the blue light and the app acts like its performing…suggestions??

First, I’d check that your zones are correctly setup. Then I’d check the wiring, both indoor and outdoor. For no zones to work, I’d pay extra attention to the ground wires.

If you can send before/after wiring pictures to [support@rachio.com] they will help get you up and running.


It was the main valve… Was not enabled! It’s working great now! Thx!

How did you enable the main valve? I’m having the same issue.


Device Settings --> Advanced --> Master Valve/Pump.


@jboddie33, looks like @GRC’s reply got lost in email. He did the following to resolve the issue:

  1. I found that the main valve wire was nicked and when I moved it… the wire broke 2 inches down. I spliced and repaired it.
  2. I rebooted the controller and made sure the set up had the main valve enabled.
    That’s it … The system is working great now!!
