iOS App won't connect

I have an iPhone 13 with latest ios version and I cannot log in to the Rachio app. I have deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times, but every time I try to log in I just get an error stating “Something went wrong. If the problem persists please contact support”

I can log in from the web browser on my PC and operate my controller just fine from there, but cannot get the app to work at all. Any other suggestions would be welcome.
