When there are multiple zones scheduled for watering on a future day, what determines which zone’s color shows on that calendar date? How can I set the priority?
I have five zones. Four of them are on Flex Daily, and I need to see them on the calendar. The fifth is a garden on a 3x weekly schedule, so there is no need to see that. When there are multiple zones scheduled for a future date, the garden’s color always takes precedence on the calendar, blocking the other zones’ colors three days a week.
The garden was the first schedule on the list. I switched to a copy of the schedule, which is on the bottom, but that didn’t change the color priority on the calendar.
Any suggestions?
Rachio Support advises that “when multiple schedules are set to run on the same day, the calendar displays the color of the first schedule scheduled to run chronologically.”
My zones are set to finish by sunrise. The zone I want to de-prioritize waters for a fixed 6 minutes, so I thought to set it to start at 6 or 7 am. However, the other zones are on smart cycle, and if two or more of them are scheduled for the same day then it’s possibly they will start in the previous evening. If the 6 minute zone is scheduled for that day then it will be the first one, not the last.
I’m hoping that once these schedules have run for a while, the future calendar won’t pile up zones so much on the same day.
