How many schedules possible/recommended for 8 station controller

It sounds like I can set each station of the 8-station controller on a unique fixed schedule. Is that true?

Interestingly, I got the impression from reading posts here that more than 8 schedules would also be possible (but would not be recommended). What would be an example of that?

Here are the current schedule limits. Gen2/3 controllers up to 16 schedules.

We have hard limits now in the app whereby before there were general recommendations (due to memory constraints)
