I will have someone from our CS team reach out to you.
Is there a resolution to this? My hose timer failed just today.
I’ve notified our CS team and they will reach out to you via email.
Nobody ever contacted me
@Shane1 I spoke with the CS team and they mentioned they sent an email last week, and will try to call you today.
Same issue here, woke up to a flooded back yard. This happened with a newly replaced under warranty due to the battery compartment flooding issue hose timer. First run, fail. Good Wi-Fi signal, firmware 6.0.15, battery good.
@wakajazz I will have the CS team reach out to you this morning and they will be able to assist you.
I am also having the same issue. I got a warranty replacement for not detecting flow. The replacement ran for 4 hours until we noticed. Then we received another replacement and it is doing the same thing. Two failures in a row. Software related??
@alex1 I’m having the CS team reach out for troubleshooting. Thank you for your patience.
It seems that I am having the same problem with one of my zones. It has been running all the time and flooded my garden bed.
@huhujiang I am having our customer success team reach out to you and will get this issue addressed. Thank you for your patience.
Same issue here. Is there a fix?
Same issue here as well.
One works, the other does not
Just installed 2nd new valve and valve won’t turn off. Need help
@BROOKLYN18 I will make sure someone from customer success reaches out to you.
Very same problem here, just setting up my first Rachio device, the smart hose timer. Pressed the button on the front for a manual run, got blue light and watering started. Pressed button again, got red light, but watering did not stop - in fact there was no flow change at all, the valve did not move. I’ve tried running cycles and stopping them through the app as well and the light on the valve behaves correctly but the valve never shuts off. Brand new device, first time it has ever been turned on.
I appreciate the offers to connect people with support and I’ll take you up on that too, but also why not post some public troubleshooting steps so when customers look this problem up they can immediately find something to try? Would also save one go-round with customer service when they ask us to try the first steps, if we’ve already tried them.
Hi, Franz,
Thank you for reaching out. I did some troubleshooting, and it seems that it is my sprinkler’s issue, not the controller’s problem. I switched Zone 2 to a different line and it still has the continuous ON issue. Let me do a little more work and keep you updated. Again, thanks for your response.
My hose timer will not shut off either from the app or from the valve. What can I do?
