I have an iPhone 12 Pro, which I used to set up the zones of my Rachio 3. I used the camera to take pictures of the various zones around the house. The image files were kept at the full 12 MP size and uploaded to Rachio’s server. When displayed in my browser the files take a wile to load as each is over 28 MB in size. I took those files and reduced the horizontal pixel width to 1170, the width of my iPhone’s screen in pixels. This means that they will be displayed on the iPhone at maximum resolution, and eight 1170 x 876 images will load on the controller web page a heck of a lot faster than eight 12 MP images.
The app should only upload images scaled to the size of the submitting phone’s screen.
