Rachio only supports start/stop feature through google home because of the google API limitations. (https://developers.google.com/assistant/smarthome/guides/sprinkler#request). “Start watering” command starts all active zones for 3 minutes at a time.
My request is to add schedule support through google home.
It will be nice to see if google home can run schedules on demand (active or inactive schedule). This way one can preselect zones and each zone time per schedule. We have flowerbeds in the front and in the back of the house and every now and then they need additional watering. This way one can ask to google to “Start watering flowerbed” or even better if it can be supported “Start watering flowerbed for 10 minutes”.
