Gen 3 won't power up after a storm

Has anyone ever had the Rachio not power back up after a storm? What was the cause.

Assuming that no indicator lights come on and you have confirmed that the power outlet feeding it is working, there has been some hardware damage. If you have a voltmeter, check the output of the power module (should be around 24 VAC). That is the most likely failure; replacement is easy and inexpensive.

Sorry again, but do you happen to have a recommendation of a power source (not voltmeter) and Home Depot?

Any 24 VAC transformer that can supply at least 1 A (and is not a ‘switching’ supply) will work, but you may have to adapt the input and/or output for the appropriate plugs. You may be able to repurpose the transformer that powered your old controller.
