I have a Gen 1 controller and the rain skip on it seems to work as it should. When rain is forecasted, or when it’s raining, it skips scheduled irrigation on the Flex Daily schedule that I’m using.
But, the app never records Weather Intelligence skips. It always says zero even when it has indeed skipped. I also never get alerts.
Any reason why this is happening and how can I fix it?
Just want to add to this feed. I have two Gen3 controllers and I have the same issue that rain skips are not being recorded.
I think rain skips aren’t really included with daily flex, since daily flex uses rain totals as part of a daily calculation. Therefore if it rains daily flex just pushes when it’s going to irrigate back by some determined day based on its calculations.
Thanks for the feedback. That seems to be what is happening. It is making the right decision to skip a watering or push it back to another day. So I’m happy that I have saved a watering, its just to bad its not being tracked within the software as a skip.
