Gen 1 16 zone to Gen 3 12 zone

Is there a way to transfer over 9 zones from a Gen 1 controller to a Gen 3 12 zone controller?

Added controller to account and was hoping for a transfer feature or dialog to come up, but no such luck.

Just checking to see if I am missing something or if I need to got through process of setting them up again.

@vdubtx - I believe if the controllers have the same number of zones, or the new controller has more zones, then Rachio will offer to migrate the zones over. As you’re going from 16 to 12 zones, yes only 9 are in use, then you’ll need to set up the zones again on the Gen 3.

Thanks for the confirmation, I did end up just setting them up again after also chatting with support.
