Does the Rachio Gen2 have the ability to detect faulty wiring or solenoids?

I’m planning on upgrading my current irrigation to a wireless model and love the fact that Rachio is US made! As I do my research, another wireless irrigation system offers the ability to detect faulty wiring or solenoids.

The other brand, monitors the state of your wiring and valves and alerts you
when abnormal current is detected – this could indicate a wiring short, a
broken wire, or a faulty solenoid.

Is this functionality available in the Rachio Gen2?

Thanks for taking a look at Rachio!

Regarding diagnostics around wiring and valves, this is not something Rachio does right now, but the physical capability to do it is in the controller. We still need to support this in the software, and it is in our backlog to do so. However, I don’t have timing for you on this.
