I’ve always understood cool season grass roots (KBG) should be down to 4 inches, however the default in the Rachio app at 6 inches. What should I actually be targeting when using MAD and Flex Daily Schedules?

When you say targeting, do you mean for root zone depth? It can be altered in the advanced settings. @emil may be able to provide insight on where the default comes from.
Right, I’m curious where the 6 in default comes from, It was my understanding that for turf grasses, 4 inches was the typical root depth.
Keep mad at 50% to handle a,string of false percipitation predictions.
You will have to measure your roots yourself but I’m pretty sure Kentucky blue can get a 6 inch stretch.
