My back bushes zone has a NIPH of 0.53. On 3/18 the moisture history shows it will add 0.21 inches of water via irrigation. At 0.53 IPH that would be about 40 minutes. But, if you look in the schedule it shows that zone is only scheduled to run 8 minutes on 3/18. 8 minutes at 0.53 IPH would only add about 0.07 inches of water. This seems inconsistent, if it plans on adding 0.21 via irrigation why would it show a duration much different than 40 minutes?
By my calculations, 0.21" of water would require 0.21/0.53x60 = 24 minutes, not 40 minutes. But certainly not 8 minutes, either. I don’t understand that either.
