I recently bought a second hand first gen controller. Went to set it up through the app and it is says it is registered to an account already.
How do I go about getting this dis-associated with the existing account and onto my account?

If activate through the app it should allow you to take a picture of the serial number and request a transfer to your account?

If you perform that again Ill have the team fast track it.
I also bought a used controller Rachio 3,when I try to scan the barcode it says it in use and does not give me the option to transfer ownership.
If you PM me the serial number and a picture of it I can have the engineering team remove from the old account for you.
The engineering team has released that controller so you should be able to activate. First I would do a factory reset.
